Three Years Later, the Road to the Olympics begins again

Was Beijing really three years ago? How did that happen!

Here I am, sitting in my office after watching the 2011 World Diving Championships on streaming live video (that didn't happen last time round) all weekend and thinking about what the next year will hold. The events were in Shanghai and I didn't travel to China this time but was still as proud as ever as Riley put in three gutsy performances, won Canada a spot in the 10 metre for London 2012 and placed a very respectful 9th.

I'm thinking I may start blogging again - attempting once again to capture what this year will be from my perspective. How to support and encourage and be a mom to an Olympian athlete? This time a 20 year old with two years of university under his belt. Four World Championship experiences and one Olympics. It will be a different road this time but one none the less I think exciting and interesting. Come along with me if you care to, I'll do my best to entertain you. With Riley as the subject, that should be fairly easy.
